Editorial policy
How we research, verify, label and correct what we publish, and how we keep awards selection separate from any commercial relationship.
Independence
Awards are decided by a named jury against published criteria. No fee, sponsorship, advertising or attendance affects eligibility, shortlisting or results. Commercial relationships are not visible to the jury.
Research and verification
Profiles are compiled from public sources and, where possible, interviews. Facts are confirmed with the subject before a profile is expanded. Subjects may request corrections at any time.
Labelling
Editorial and sponsored content are labelled as such. Sponsored features never appear in Profiles, in Cover Stories, or on honoree pages.
Corrections
Corrections are made promptly and noted on the page. Requests go to editorial@thecoverstory.world or through the contact form.
Photographs and video
Event photography and video are published with the consent of those pictured where they are identifiable. Anyone may ask for an image to be removed.
Data
Nomination, entry and newsletter data are handled as described in the privacy notice.
